Perfectly clean and stylish place, tasty breakfast with a wide range of options. The most important - particularly good and fab location to windermere centre. Just off a church and main road so easy to get out to destination. Hot drinks at English bar, friendly service. Everything first-class.

Absolutely everything! Beautiful room, which had lovely views. Spotlessly clean, best night sleep ive had in a long time! The cooked-to-order breakfast was amazing, and kept me going all day. Friendly and courteous staff, who couldnt be more helpful. Excellent location for Kendal (where I was working) and Windemere. Easy to find and plenty of parking. Cant wait to go back!
Nothing at all to comment on.

The staff were extremely friendly and efficient, the room was clean, comfortable and well furnished, with good facilities for tea making and multi channel tv.The bathroom was clean and modern and the towels were plentifull and of the right size and very high quality. The atmosphere was very relaxing, warm and welcoming. Breakfast which was included in the price was served in a small dinning room with the food being pre-ordered the night before via a ticksheet. The full english breakfast with vegetarian option, was waitress served and was accompanied by help yourself additions such as cereal, toast and fresh fruit and juices. We would recommend Meadowcroft wholegeartedly, and will most definitely use them again should we need overnight accomodation in The Lake District.
There was nothing to dislike, although personally I might have prefered a bath as opposed to a shower in my room, but having said that the shower was excellent. We had a ground floor room at the front of the house, with double aspect windows, it was light as a result, but there was also some noise from the proximity of the main road which runs to the side of Meadowcroft. At this time of year Nov, the road was quiet of traffic, but I would imagine in summer it might be a little distracting if you are trying to get an early nights sleep. We returned to our room at around 9pm and found little passing traffic at this time so it wasn't really a problem.
